I haven't shared any work on here in a long time and that's due to the fact that I've gone for months now without working on projects. Anyway, this is something I did sometime last year and it was nicely challenging.

The design is fairly easy but, putting it together came with a few challenges. First, making sure that it resembled (cut & paste style) previous work I'd done for the client which is not as simple as placing equal sized wood together to create one piece. Secondly, it was my first attempt at spray painting. Spray painting may look simple to do but trust me, the technique is acquired. It came out with what looks like flaws but the client loved them and is happy with the work.

Here's to a new year, more projects and better outcomes. πŸŽ‰πŸ˜Ž

This pandemic has affected a lot of people and business in so many ways, this business has been no exception and that's evident in the months spent without any projects undertaken. However, with every disaster comes opportunity and for this business that means many meaningful projects to build.

I'm excited for the projects I'll be undertaking in the next coming months because, they're all close to my heart and will be symbolic of the opportunities that lie ahead.

To help get my building groove back I built these potplant stands which I call, Fraternal Twins. Here's to many more projects, more love and more light!

Here's a little something we did for an unconventional customer.

Another project complete πŸ₯³ πŸ€“. Client ordered a closet organiser and I was happy to oblige. This version of the closet organiser has added wheels and the metal railing is attached to the wood, all to make it easier to move around space. Sold for R1200 including delivery 🚚.

Final look for the box pedestals. Specific colour turned out better than I expected given that this was the first time having a projected completely covered in a colour that hit away the natural wood colour and grain. These sold for R1400 including delivery and the specific colour request.

These Box Pedestals are the latest addition to the portfolio of projects completed. The client requested a specific colour to them and we'll post how that turned out later.

The pimping is complete πŸ˜πŸ˜…! The brief was as simple as: "Bro, I realise I'm literally sleeping ontop of a lot of storage that I'm not functionally using. Can you help change that?". So I pimped up the base from a 20cm tall base to a 50cm tall reinforced base. The end result is enough storage to fit in another base πŸ˜‚πŸ€žπŸΏπŸ˜Ž.

Finally done with the "imperfectly perfect" pedestals set πŸ‘·πŸΏβ€β™‚οΈπŸ˜Ž. They're 65cm tall, 50cm long and 40cm wide.
