First time using rattan and im addicted 😍

Why in gods name did I think sanding this piece back to bare timber was a good idea !
Sanding is the pits …..but have to keep the vision 🤯🤪

A lovely set of bedside tables for a beautiful client.
These bedsides needed a freshen up .
I used Pureco’s Pistachio for the colour, Brooke Weave paintable wallpaper on the drawer fronts , whitewashed tops and handles.

I have finished a commission piece which I will show tomorrow and now starting on another piece using real rattan which I haven’t used before !

🌸 The drawers have also been painted inside
🌸 The drawers are all on timber runners and slide smoothly
🌸 All sealed for protection
