Life had, well lifed me over the last few months.
I haven’t been in the workshop since January, which is way too long.
Finally got back to it today and turned myself a laundry detergent scoop. The bulk packets I buy don’t come with one and the flimsy plastic one I’ve been using is about to give up. So I turned a Richard Raffan inspired scoop.

This day 5 years ago I turned my very first pen.
This led me down the rabbbit warren of 100s more pens, crochet hooks, quick unpicks and more things I can mention.
What an amazing journey thus far.
I’m calling this a Time Warp crochet handle, the swirls and depth of variation are mesmerising.

I like to challenge myself, help broaden my skills, and refine to ones I have.
This time I challenged how small/thin of a blank can I turn into a dish / plate.
I’ve had these offcuts of Merbau decking which was given to me a while back. It’s 21mm thick.
I’m stocked it worked out and with the result.
