Swipe for our reasons why a repaint is a good idea.
It looks good. A fresh coat is the quickest way to lift how your home looks from the street. New colour, crisp lines, and a house you’re proud to pull up to.
It protects what’s underneath. Under the colour is timber, cladding and fascia, and none of it likes water. Paint seals it in. Once that coat wears out, moisture gets in and starts working on the materials below.
The longer you leave it, the more it costs. Peeling paint and hairline cracks are the early warning. Left alone, a repaint turns into board replacements, rot repairs and a lot more prep. Fixing it early is almost always the cheaper job.
Paint isn’t just pretty, it protects. Queensland sun, storms and humidity hit your house all year. Your paint is the barrier between that and your home, and a proper exterior system (we use Dulux Weathershield) is built to take it.
