Linda came in to donate some Aldi grocery vouchers for our community members needing support.

Donations like these feed families and individuals, boost spirits, and help to calm fears for locals who may not know where their next meal will come from. In short, they make a BIG difference. ✅

Good food, safe sleeps - we've dished up 100+ meals and 31 comfortable night's sleep this week! 💤

Maroochydore - 17 people slept safe.
Nambour - 14 people slept safe.
Maroochy Neighbourhood Centre - 100+ meals, including 52 meals of chicken stir-fry rice on Thursday. And for dessert, strawberry and white choc sponge with custard (feast your eyes below!).

Join us every Wednesday and Thursday from 10:30 am at Maroochy Neighbourhood Centre for our Coffee & Chat mornings.

Whether you're new to the area, looking to meet new people, or want to get out of the house for an hour or so, you'll be warmly welcomed. It's a relaxed, informal space to connect with others, share a laugh, and build new friendships over a great cup of coffee.

Everyone is welcome.

A special shout-out to the residents and team who put so much work into organising the market days. Your donation helps us provide practical support to people doing it tough in our community. Thank you for continuing to get behind our work.

Thank you to Betty and Graham from Allora Gardens Retirement Village for donating Woolworths gift vouchers. These vouchers will support local families struggling to pay their bills and put food on the table.

This week, 131 people enjoyed a meal with us across Tuesday and Thursday. Tuesday’s menu was Mexican meatballs followed by home-baked carrot cake with custard. Today's was meatloaf with mushroom sauce, mashed potatoes, roasted carrots, beans and roast tomatoes.

Orange Sky Laundry completed 10 loads of washing, providing clean clothes for people in our community.

Thank you also to OzHarvest Sunshine Coast and Gympie and Fruit Lovers Market Maroochydore for the fresh produce that helps make these meals possible.

We’re looking for friendly, reliable reception volunteers at Maroochy Neighbourhood Centre on Mondays and Tuesdays, 9am–3pm.

Help welcome visitors, answer phones and assist with general admin. If you enjoy meeting people and giving back to your community, we’d like to hear from you.

Demand continues to grow, and we are now sadly turning people away because the bus is full. Every donation helps keep the Sleeper operating and provides more people with a safe place to sleep.
