• Pair of Parker Model 110 Wrap Around Armchairs – $3,200 each. Custom upholstery available.

• Pair of Parker Model 107 Dining Chairs – Fully restored. Additional chairs can be sourced to make up a larger set.

Lots of people ask me how I got into this. I often tell people it’s a bug, and that once you start collecting, you can’t stop (and eventually you have to open a shop!)
I got my first piece around 8 years ago, and after that I couldn’t stop! What was the piece that got you hooked?

On display at Soon After, 499 Darling st, Balmain.

Dimensions: 120cm x 74cm (170cm extended)

Some of you may know that we’ve been dealing with some ongoing issues at our Balmain premises, and as you can imagine, it’s made it nearly impossible to focus on the thing I actually love, which is sourcing and restoring beautiful furniture and getting them into your home!

But, in the last two weeks, we’ve found a way forward that feels so serendipitous, and for which we are so grateful!

We’re really excited to announce that we found a new home for our pieces, just 4 doors down, inside the HQ of our gorgeous neighbours at .au

Our aesthetic and our approach to spaces feels really aligned, as well as the quality and intention of our collections. Soon After stock the most luxurious bed linen in colours that sit beautifully along side our mid century furniture.

This will be my first Saturday at the new space, and I’m coming in with feeling really excited to share with you our best new pieces.
Feeling ready for this new chapter at Zander & Co. Thanks for following along our journey!

We’ve had some beautiful pieces hit the showroom in the last week, including this completely perfect little Danish sideboard by Arne Hovmand. This piece features two sliding doors, four felt lined slide out trays and a fully finished teak back, making it perfect as a room divider.
