Lots of people ask me how I got into this. I often tell people it’s a bug, and that once you start collecting, you can’t stop (and eventually you have to open a shop!)
I got my first piece around 8 years ago, and after that I couldn’t stop! What was the piece that got you hooked?
Just in is this “Roundette” dining table by Frem Rojle for Hans Olsen. This one converts from a 4-6 seater with a butterfly extension nested neatly inside.

Some of you may know that we’ve been dealing with some ongoing issues at our Balmain premises, and as you can imagine, it’s made it nearly impossible to focus on the thing I actually love, which is sourcing and restoring beautiful furniture and getting them into your home!
But, in the last two weeks, we’ve found a way forward that feels so serendipitous, and for which we are so grateful!
We’re really excited to announce that we found a new home for our pieces, just 4 doors down, inside the HQ of our gorgeous neighbours at .au
Our aesthetic and our approach to spaces feels really aligned, as well as the quality and intention of our collections. Soon After stock the most luxurious bed linen in colours that sit beautifully along side our mid century furniture.
This will be my first Saturday at the new space, and I’m coming in with feeling really excited to share with you our best new pieces.

We’ve had some beautiful pieces hit the showroom in the last week, including this completely perfect little Danish sideboard by Arne Hovmand. This piece features two sliding doors, four felt lined slide out trays and a fully finished teak back, making it perfect as a room divider.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out with support and kindness over the last few weeks.
We’ve been quietly working away on new pieces and slowly, intentionally restocking the floor.

My instagram community, I’ve been putting on a brave face, but things have been harder than they should have been. This building has been hard and I’ve been doing my best to keep my head above water and keep going. I don’t know what the next months will hold, but I am grateful to everyone who has supported us on this journey, and to everyone who will continue to support us on this other side! So in love with the Balmain community already, and not ready to give up yet. Thank you Anni & Matthew from for these gorgeous photos, for capturing us so beautifully!
