Exceptional ‘Idealbordet’ by Otto & Bo Wretling, designed in 1935 and produced in 1937 in Umeå, Sweden. This Ideal Table can be adjusted in height and folded open to double in size. A terrific example of Otto Wretling’s versatility as a designer and carpenter, combining early Functionalism with Swedish art deco as evidenced by the use of different modern techniques and top of the line materials like bubinga and inlayed birch wood. Maker’s label is present.
