A project that offers a different perspective on outdoor living...

Overlooking downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, this condo patio trades the traditional backyard for sweeping city views and an outdoor kitchen designed for entertaining.

The homeowner envisioned an urban “party pad,” a place to gather with friends before heading out into the city or settle in and enjoy the skyline from above.

Designed by Todd Wiley of TruKitchens in collaboration with interior designer Andrea Nemes, the space combines custom NatureKast cabinetry, integrated appliances and clever storage solutions to bring the conveniences of a complete kitchen outdoors.

What makes an award-winning outdoor space?

It’s not one singular element, but how every part of the space works together. A fully equipped outdoor kitchen, covered dining and lounge areas, a putting green and layered landscaping come together to create a backyard that feels like a true extension of the home.

We’re proud to have collaborated with Designer Built Homes on this incredible project for the 2026 NW Natural Street of Dreams, which recently took home 14 awards – including Best Outdoor Living, People’s Choice.

Congratulations to Devin and the entire Designer Built Homes team on the well-deserved recognition.

An outdoor kitchen shouldn’t interrupt the architecture, it should belong to it.

At this Alys Beach home, the kitchen settles effortlessly into its surroundings. Crisp white cabinetry echoes the home’s interiors, while arched openings, pale stone and coastal blue accents carry the design language throughout.

With a wide range of door styles and finishes, NatureKast brings the freedom of interior cabinetry outdoors, making it possible to create a space that feels unmistakably connected to the home.

For this Plymouth, Massachusetts project, the vision went far beyond creating a place to cook. The homeowners wanted an outdoor living space where family and friends could gather, share meals, and spend quality time together.

Designed by Christina J. McCabe of Topnotch Design Studio, thoughtful planning brought that vision to life through distinct cooking and gathering zones, generous storage, island seating, and NatureKast cabinetry in a warm Natural Blonde finish.

The best outdoor spaces are those where every element feels connected.

This modern farmhouse pool house captures the essence of California outdoor living, bringing together architecture, landscape, and functionality in one cohesive design. NatureKast cabinetry, concrete countertops, and an expansive bar create a kitchen that's built for everyday use, while the surrounding pool, lounge, and natural setting transform it into a destination for gathering.

We’re grateful to be even a small part of the Princess Margaret Lottery Pebbleridge Place home in Oakville—a masterpiece of Georgian-style architecture.

The outdoor space evokes a private, resort-like retreat, where sleek design meets relaxation. The NatureKast outdoor kitchen is effortlessly woven into the space, complementing the home’s architecture while bringing an indoor-level design experience outside.

It’s an honour to have contributed in partnership with Landscape Florida Inc. to such an incredible initiative, supporting the life-changing work of the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
