A Bold City Plan of Harbour Area

The harbour area of the city of Turku will have the renovated plans during the next few years, and the design phase is on the way.

The area consists of a medieval castle, few museums, residential housing and harbour for the frequent searoute to Sweden for cargo and passengers.

The idea of highlighting the site makes the area alive already.

Vantaa Marathon Next Saturday

The marathon route is easy to import into Citynomadi event maps by GPX file. The race course was corrected and redirected due to the street work of a brand new tram line.

The redirection is sensitive due to the exact length of the marathon race. Every meter matters.

Marathon Experience

Citynomadi provides the marathon experience with the guidance map for the support groups and spectators of Vantaa Marathon for the third year in a row!

The elevation graph or the racecourse is Citynomadi’s novelty this year. The two-way elevation graph of Citynomadi is easy to use and useful especially in a hilly course.

Click the graph, and the map shows the exact location of the height. Click the map and the elevation graph will show the height.

Click ‘my location’ on a map and you know what the height at this very point is.

Once created, just update!

Street Works On Map

We have several use cases with an interactive wayfinding around the tricky street and construction works at busy sites.

Our long-time client city of Turku has created a useful map pinpointing the major construction sites for the passers-by at the centre of the city.

If the wayfinding would be considered, the guidance would be real-time and would quickly react to the changing situation.

You’ll find the map at citynomadi.com

Reliable Country Wide Information

Quite often there is specific information which requires a wide overview and a clear map-based interface.

With Citynomadi’s map any company can create a well-designed and easy to update map interface.

One example is the map overview of Indian universities at a University of Tampere project.

https://projects.tuni.fi/cofird/indian-universities/

The information is fed by an API and can be updated accordingly. The icons indicate visual information, and the rich content window offers more details an exact form.

We are working with COFIRD project of project partners of ours: University of Tampere, Kone, Konecranes, Demola, 3D Talo Finland and Citynomadi.

To Access The Event Map

As the Blockfest festival, all the events we work with have embedded their map on their web site. If the event has an app, the integration is an alternative or an additional channel to communicate.

Tervetuloa Blockfestin lähialuesivulle! Tälle sivulle kootaan kaikki lähialueen asukkaille tärkeät tiedot, kuten tapahtuman liikennejärjestelyt, kulkureitit ja muut käytännön ohjeet.
