These charming Ercol dining chairs have been given an extra touch of comfort and style with bespoke cushion pads made in a classic ticking stripe fabric.
The cushions not only make the chairs more comfortable for everyday dining, but also enhance their country farmhouse character, helping them blend beautifully into an eclectic interior scheme.
For practicality, discreet poppers have been fitted around the spindle backs ensuring the cushions are securely fastened and stay perfectly in place without slipping or moving during use.
A simple addition that combines comfort, functionality and timeless style.

The light wasn’t quite on our side for photos in this room but I had to share this beautiful blind anyway.
I love how the rich red tones lift the deeper khaki green walls, while subtle pops of gold echo the furniture in the room. Tonal without being too matching…layered, balanced and full of warmth.
The overall feel is deep and classic but with a modern colour palette that keeps it feeling fresh and elegant. A perfect example of how thoughtful fabric choices can completely elevate a space.

The beauty of exquisite embroidery is in the detail.
This fabric combines various stunning tones of green with differing undertones of blues and yellow…think aqua and duck egg alongside sage, forest green with a nod to lime tones too. Teamed with delicate pops of coral this creates a colour palette that feels both refreshing and luxurious. The opulent embroidery adds depth, texture and movement to the structured lines of the roman blind making the fabric truly stand out.
I love this combination so much I’m genuinely tempted to redecorate around it!

Rich wall colours deserve fabrics that can hold their own. Deep paint tones paired with equally rich fabrics create balance, softness and a beautifully layered feel in a room.
Going too white or too pale alongside strong wall colours can sometimes feel stark…unless you’re intentionally creating a classic dual-tone look with styles like Wedgwood blues, toiles or monochrome contrast (there’s always an exception)!
For a warmer and more inviting finish, be brave with your fabric choices. Think bold patterns, deep textures and rich tones that complement the depth of the walls rather than competing with them. We think our customer made the perfect decision for this bedroom and doesn’t the stripe work perfectly as a structured roman blind. The result feels cohesive, elegant and effortlessly cosy.

Its traditional design and subtle handle brings a real sense of refinement to the space. Perfect for a more classic and heritage-inspired look, adding warmth, structure and a feeling of luxury!

There’s something about dark, moody interiors. When combined with rich textures layered tones and luxurious fabrics they make a room feel instantly grounded and elegant…and they are definitely still having their moment!
Deeper shades work beautifully to create warmth and character, especially in cosy living rooms, bedrooms and reading corners. Think deep forest greens, inky blues, charcoal florals, and dramatic botanical prints that bring both heritage and sophistication into the home
This classic William Morris weave with its charcoal ground works beautifully as a roman blind. It showcases the stunning fabric allowing every detail of the pattern to shine while adding softness and structure to the window. A perfect combination to bring both heritage and sophistication into the home.
Dark tones can feel luxurious rather than heavy.
Moody doesn’t mean gloomy… it means atmosphere, depth and style that lasts beyond trends.

People often walk into the shop feeling a little overwhelmed by the number of pattern books and fabric samples we have. I so often hear:
“I don’t have a clue…”
“I don’t know what I want…”
“I’m not very good at this…”
But that’s exactly why we’re here. Working together, it soon becomes clear what they love, what they don’t and confidence starts to grow as choices come together naturally.
Others arrive with a very distinct style and clear vision from the outset, simply needing a little guidance to pull together the perfect designs and fabrics.
Recently, we were invited into a beautiful home to create all the soft furnishings throughout. Our clients arrived armed with their colour palettes and knew exactly the look they wanted to achieve — confident, stylish and beautifully considered. The finished results are utterly stunning and I can’t wait to share more from this gorgeous home soon

This home has the most incredible views…how lucky are we to live in this part of the world!
With windows framing such a beautiful outlook, the curtains become just as much about practicality as they are about style. Half-height or sill-length curtains can be a solution in spaces like this allowing the view to remain the focal point while still adding softness and warmth where needed. They are also a practical choice for rooms with radiators beneath the windows!
The botanical-inspired design also helps to gently bring the outside in, echoing the natural beauty beyond the glass.
The result is a clean balanced finish that feels considered and lets the scenery do the talking!
