We had an unexpected visitor in the shop this morning!
It was safely guided back outside on a fantastic range of fencing 😀

Last weekend, we were proud to support the Ashton Open Gardens event and what a wonderful weekend it was!

It was fantastic to see so many beautiful gardens, each with its own unique character, creativity, and charm. From colourful borders and thriving vegetable plots to peaceful garden retreats, there was plenty of inspiration on display.

A big thank you to all the gardeners and to everyone involved in organising such a successful event.

Yesterday we shared the exciting news that Helen Maher will be playing her accordion in some gardens on Saturday. Today I'm here to remind you that the Open Gardens favourites Go Vocal will be once again singing around the village on Sunday afternoon.

They will kick off outside The Star Inn, at around 13:30 moving on to Lammas Hay, Hollymount and finishing in the Fizz Bar at Plough Cottage (where they might have an ice cream to celebrate).

Come along and see them on Sunday. You won't be disappointed.

We love a special project! This impressive sign was custom-made in our workshop using 200mm x 200mm treated softwood posts, planed with large mortises to accept 47mm x 150mm boards for a strong, clean finish. Created in time for a birthday party, it certainly made an impact both in our yard and once installed.
