Three sideboards found their forever homes this week and I am so grateful💚

This gorgeous Olive green beauty was the one that has me the most excited to share. She’s headed to a very special place, my childhood friend’s home in Thirsk! There’s something so lovely about a piece you’ve lovingly restored going to someone who already means so much to you.

Inside there’s a little surprise, she’s lined with the most wonderful vintage “Chromatic Scale of Colours” print. All those swirling reds, blues and golds tucked away where only she’ll see them each time she opens a drawer. I love adding these little unexpected details, it’s what makes a piece feel truly one of a kind.

Brass handles polished, curves sanded smooth, and that green paint I can’t stop using lately, she was a joy from start to finish.Sealed with Love🥰

Well, well, well… 👀

Sideboard #2 has officially found her forever home! This beauty with linen fold doors dressed up with gorgeous Redesign by Prima transfers, decided she wasn’t hanging around for long either.

Plot twist: both my sideboards this week sold to the same wonderful customer. A big thank you. I couldn’t bring myself to post them together though as each one worked far too hard for their glow-up to share the spotlight. 💗

They’re off to their new home this weekend, staying local, which makes my heart very happy indeed.

**SOLD **

This gorgeous sideboard has found her forever home, it didn’t take long and I am absolutely made up.

She started out tired, dated, and a bit unloved, but underneath she was just waiting for a new lease of life. Sanded back, stripped, undercoated, and given a bold new coat of cerise/magenta paint, brass handles cleaned up beautifully with a bit of elbow grease.

This one is staying locally. Thank you so much to everyone who followed along with the transformation photos and cheered her on, it genuinely means the world.💗Sealed with Love

Beautifully restored antique oak sideboard, hand painted in a custom berry/magenta shade (the same colour I used on my Ercol piece), with the solid oak top sanded and left natural for a striking finish, sealed with clear Matt varnish to protect.

Two cupboards with internal shelving, two drawers with original brass handles, and a charming arched recess to the centre. Solid, well-made piece that’s come up an absolute treat.

Had a little Brasso polishing session last night and wow, what a difference! Kept all their age and character, just cleaned them right up. This sideboard’s getting the same custom paint colour as the Ercol sideboard— more updates coming as I work through the weekend 🎨 Sealed with Love
