Today was also the last Stay and Play session for Tracey.

Saying goodbye to someone who has such a passion for the group and who loves watching babies and children grow is not easy. We all wish Tracey the very best in her new role, and we know she will be loved by many more children and families.

We will truly miss having Tracey at the group, reading stories, singing songs, and supporting families. As a farewell gift, Tracey prepared some special goodbye rhymes for the children.

Thank you, Tracey, for all your hard work, dedication, and care. We wish you every success and happiness in your new job. 💐

20.10.2026 – Stay and Play Session

Today's session included a variety of arts and crafts activities both indoors and outdoors. The children enjoyed playing with playdough, painting, colouring, and taking part in the rice activity.

🍂🎃 Little Wonders Session - 8.10.2026 🎃🍂

What an amazing session we had today! It was such a lovely morning, full of fun, exploration, and creativity.

Our Little Wonders enjoyed exploring new things and creating special memories for themselves and their parents. One of the highlights was making tiny footprint prints on pumpkins, along with taking part in a range of exciting sensory and creative activities.

Thank you to all the families who joined us. We loved seeing the children learn, play, and have fun together! ❤️

Darker evenings and low sun can make it more difficult for drivers to see pedestrians, especially children.
Help keep your child safe by: ✅ Wearing bright clothing during the day ✅ Using reflective clothing or accessories after dark ✅ Crossing at well-lit areas and pedestrian crossings where possible ✅ Putting away devices and removing headphones before crossing the road ✅ Reminding older children travelling independently to stay alert

🌟 Stay and Play at Osmondthorpe Children's Centre 🌟

Another amazing Stay and Play session today at Osmondthorpe Children's Centre! 💛

It was lovely to see the children exploring different areas, trying new activities, and developing their skills through play. In addition, today we had sensory foam activities, and the children enjoyed washing a pumpkin as part of their sensory play experience. 🎃🫧

1.101.2026-Little Wonders, children enjoyed an autumn-themed sensory activity exploring pumpkins and the sensory room. The room was set up with orange-coloured sensory resources and toy worms to encourage curiosity, exploration, and imaginative play.
Children had the opportunity to touch, observe, and explore the pumpkins using their senses. They showed interest in the different textures, colours, and shapes, and engaged well with the sensory materials.

🍂 29.09.2026 – Stay and Play Session 🍂

A big thank you to everyone who joined our Stay and Play session today! 💛 We know the weather wasn't the best, so we really appreciate all the mums and children who wrapped up warm and came along to spend the morning with us.

The children had lots of fun exploring different play areas, getting creative with autumn pumpkins, and enjoying playdough activities. 🎃🍁

Our sensory room was a big hit, and the children also loved getting outside to explore and play in the fresh air.

It was lovely to see so many happy faces, smiles, and little friendships growing. Thank you for making the session so special!

We can't wait to see you all again next week for another fun-filled Stay and Play session. 😊💕🍂
