As a company we have always been passionate about improving inclusivity in the arts, for audiences, performers and staff. We were really proud that this was recognised last night when we won the Access All Areas award for Diversity and Inclusion for our Festival and Carnival Lab course. This is a real testament to the hard work of all the team and our fantastic course graduates!

Our Director Mel Wilds also has an article on this topic in the latest issue of ‘Access All Areas’ magazine. In it she describes how Continental Drifts are striving to improve diversity in Festival Production through the course. Link to article: tinyurl.com/aaa-article-fclab

We also heard that we have been shortlisted for three more awards for the upcoming festival Supplier Awards 2026! Continental Drifts is shortlisted in the Accessibility Award, Best Production / Site Management and also (with London’s Royal Docks for Rekindling) Best Visual Spectacular categories
