Founded in 2017 and run by Lisa from her workshop in Nether Stowey, we’re all about creating unique, sustainable designs that add beauty and personality to your home. STILL YOUR KITCHEN. JUST MORE YOU 🩷

You can like your kitchen’s layout and still be tired of looking at the cupboards.

This is Castell Pink, a subtle, warm shade that gives these cabinets a softer look without losing the charm of the room.

Hand painted doors, drawers and framework, finished with brass k***s and cup handles. The worktops, tiles and flooring stayed, and the kitchen feels lighter for it.

A FRESH LOOK, WITHOUT A NEW KITCHEN

Our clients wanted to lighten their kitchen and help it flow better into the adjoining dining area.

We painted the existing wooden cabinetry in Portland Stone Light and the tiles in Green Stone Light, giving the whole room a much softer, fresher feel.

The lighter colours have really opened up the space and helped tie the two rooms together, all without the need to replace a perfectly good kitchen.

TRADITIONAL CHARM, FRESH FINISH 🤍

A lovely transformation for this traditional pine dresser.

We've hand painted the cabinetry in Stock by Little Greene, a soft neutral that complements the dresser's original character and detailing.

Rather than painting everything, we sanded back the wooden top and handles to reveal the natural grain, adding warmth and a lovely contrast to the painted finish.

The result is a much lighter, softer look while retaining all the charm of the original piece.

A TWIST OF LIME 💚

Our clients were ready to move away from the white gloss finish of their existing kitchen, which they felt looked a little too clinical. They wanted to introduce some warmth, softness and a touch of colour.

We hand painted the main cabinetry in First Light, a gentle, warm shade that works beautifully with the existing worktops and flooring.

For something a little different, the fridge freezer surround was painted in Pale Lime, adding a pop of colour and creating a feature within the room.

The result is a kitchen that feels warmer, more welcoming and full of character, without the expense or disruption of replacing it.

NEW HOME, FRESH START 💙🤍

Our client had recently moved into this property and wanted to make the kitchen feel fresh and more her own. The laminate was peeling, with some end panels already bare, and the dated tiles were ready for a change.

We hand-painted the cabinetry in Little Greene’s Aquamarine Pale and the tiles in Loft White, creating a lighter, softer look that works beautifully with the wood effect worktops.

Peeling laminate doesn’t always mean you need a replacement kitchen. With the right preparation, your existing cabinetry could have a transformation too.

SLAKED LIME AND NATURAL WOOD 🤍

This dining set is one of our completed furniture projects, with the chairs and table base hand-painted in Slaked Lime.

The painted finish complements the wooden tabletop and highlights the turned legs and spindle backs. A simple combination with plenty of character.

FURNITURE THAT FITS YOUR HOME

Our recent clients wanted their table and chairs to fit in with their kitchen diner décor. We hand painted the table base and wooden chair frames in French Grey Dark, keeping the wood tabletop and seats for a warm contrast.

A change of colour has brought everything together, allowing them to keep their existing furniture and enjoy a look that suits their home.

BOLD IN BASALT 💙

What a difference a change of colour can make.

This kitchen had good quality cabinetry, but the combination of natural wood effect and previously painted units meant the room lacked a consistent finish.

We prepared and hand painted the cabinetry throughout in Basalt by Little Greene, bringing everything together in one rich, deep colour.

We particularly love how Basalt works alongside the white AGA, stainless steel and the warm timber details. Keeping those existing features also shows just how much can be achieved without replacing the kitchen itself.

The result is the same kitchen, but with a completely different look.

Goodbye Laminate, Hello French Grey 🩶

This kitchen had laminated doors that were ready for a change. We carefully removed the laminate, prepared the surface underneath and hand-painted the kitchen in French Grey.

The result is a fresh, timeless finish that works well with the existing layout, without the cost and disruption of replacing the whole kitchen.

Not just kitchens… a farmhouse bathroom full of character ❤️

We recently completed this bathroom in a beautiful home on a working farm on Exmoor, where the same family have lived for 170 years.

We hand painted the wooden panelling, mirror and built in cupboards in Clay Mid, with Bronze Red for the corner cabinet and roll-top bath. The red picks out the flowers in the new wallpaper, bringing everything together whilst keeping the room’s traditional charm.
