This is one of those pieces that you don’t see very often. A show stopper in any home. A rare piece of furniture worth traveling for.

Recently refurbished and in great condition. Beautiful from any angle.

The details really make the design on this.

Edge banding is solid carved plank. There are no hard angles present anywhere on the casing, giving it a sophisticated and relatively unique shape relative to other designs of the period. 

Has two large storage spaces with adjustable shelves behind sliding doors. Four sizable drawers. Top drawer has a green felt liner. 

All drawers and doors slide smoothly and function like-new.

Hello, Friends of the Goods!

When I began moving into the store in November, I furnished it largely by buying unmarked boxes from auctions and hoping for the best with the contents. Sometimes the items were great, other times they were (quite literally) trash. Either way, we have all had fun sharing the finds from my ridiculous low-dollar picking.

While I have enjoyed sharing said finds, the intention was never to continue doing that. I needed cash flow in order to survive, and I created that cash flow by selling small decor items lower than Habitat for Humanity ReStore (seriously, I would base my prices off of similar items at the one nearby). While we still intend to offer a large selection of items at reasonable prices, I want to shift my focus back to my original mission: mid century, and high-quality curated goods.

Furthermore, I want to expand my inventory of experiments that have gone well. Ever since we introduced costume jewelry and clothing, yall have had a field day in the store. I want to increase my capacity to sell clothes, and improve the quality of jewelry that we have for sale (don’t worry, we will keep the $$2.95 bin). In order to do that, I need to clear up some space.

That’s where you come in. From now thru this Sunday, we will be offering a 10% discount on ALL decor items. We will also be setting up a heavily discounted section (I’m talking as much as 95% off) to clear out inventory that we thought was cute enough to sell, but that we have decided is ultimately off-mission in some way. This will include things like “Terrifying Trinket Box, ‘Mama’”, “Blue Ceramic Dog,” “Weed Jar,” and so many other cute trinkets.

I’m excited to finally have the capacity to pursue my original mission, and I know that we will continue to provide a fun (and somewhat unhinged) environment where you can come shop and expect to leave with something you love and can reasonably afford.

Pair of Rosewood & Chrome Nightstands by Milo Baughman [AVAILABLE]

26”W x 16”D x 23”H

In pristine restored condition. No structural issues. All doors and drawers operate as they should.

These nightstands feature a beautiful rosewood front with chrome accents along the face, and polished chrome hardware. The casing has been restored with a thick layer of black lacquer to cover imperfections on the original black enameled casing. Drawer glides were broken, and have been replaced. Ready for another lifetime of use.

Probably one of the most iconic pieces from one of the most commonly collected lines of mid century furniture. This table is determined to add the wow factor that you’ve been looking for to your home. 

Andre Bus has a large portfolio of designs for multiple companies. While his favorites of mine are largely space age furniture, Acclaim has always had a special place in my heart as one of the gateway drugs to my design addiction.

This particular table is one that I have wanted for years, so I kept it as a unicorn in my personal collection hoping that I could provide a good home for it. I am parting with it now with the hopes that someone else will love it the same as me. 

This table has been recently professionally refurbished and is in nearly perfect condition.

Niels Koefoed “Eva” Dining Chairs [AVAILABLE]

These aren’t just dining chairs. They are exemplars of one of the best periods of design history. This is the kind of furniture that you design for home around. These chairs infrequently show up for sale, especially in this large of a set in such good condition.

The wood grain is beautiful. The finish is in great condition. The chairs are all still sturdy, despite their age. These were built to last, and if taken care of will likely outlive all of us.
