CHINOTTO ARMCHAIR | 1973
Luigi Caccia Dominioni loved to surprise but never to shock. His objects are a play on scale and proportion as you can see in Chinotto.

Available in 2 heights, Chinotto is extraordinarily comfortable. It’s a miniature masterpiece that leaves you spell-bound. The generously padded seat (upholstered in fabric or leather), the height of the armrests, and the position of the seat back make sitting down and standing up effortless. You automatically feel relaxed and it is just right for reading a book or pulling up in front of the fire to enjoy a chat with friends. Chinotto is ideal where space is at a premium yet still holds its own in bigger settings thanks to its clean, pure lines.

Originally built in 1911, this distinguished Art Deco landmark is at the heart of London’s rich architectural landscape, featuring an ornate façade and glass-roofed central atrium. The Whiteley, London’s first department store, has undergone a significant re-imagining, whilst paying homage to its historical and cultural significance. British architecture firm Foster + Partners undertook a comprehensive regeneration of this iconic building. Arclinea’s Convivium was specified for its 139 kitchens featuring doors in fossil oak and worktops in Bianca Eclipsia quartzite.

ARCLINEA | PROXIMA KITCHEN
A generous Proxima composition unfolds across an island and operational area. Polished Taj Mahal quartz is paired with Proxima doors and handles in PVD Plus bronze stainless steel, while Canaletto walnut tall units and open shelving establish a composition of strong architectural presence.

The new Convivium hood in PVD Plus bronze completes the scheme. Balancing solid volumes with open elements, and warm materials with finely crafted technical details, the composition reflects a contemporary approach to the kitchen that brings together function, materiality and everyday living.
