The Black Slice Chair reveals the natural character of bamboo through a distinctive sliced edge that exposes its hollow core. Heat-bent and turned bamboo meets hand-woven leather cord, bringing together material, craft and structure in a form that feels both grounded and light.

Across art and material culture, gold has long been used as a surface to catch light, create ornament, and heighten presence. The Gilded Current draws from this visual language through hand-shaped, deliberately irregular brass, turning reflection into a shifting study of light, movement, and imperfection.
