Pagosa Lakes Recreation Center Closed for the Remainder of Today
Many roads in the area are flooding, creating dangerous driving conditions. Please avoid unnecessary travel and stay safe.
Unless travel is essential, please avoid North Pagosa Boulevard between Hatcher and Twincreek, Saddle Circle, Midiron Drive, and side roads off Lake Forest Circle. Do not drive through flooded areas or across water-covered roads.
At this time, we are planning a delayed Recreation Center opening at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow. However please note, The PLPOA Administration Office and Recreation Center follow the school district’s closure policy on weekdays. If the school district closes, we close. Weekend closures are determined separately, and we currently expect the Recreation Center to be open this Saturday and Sunday.
Red Cross Shelter Available — Open to All
The PLPOA Clubhouse at 230 Port Avenue opened at 4:00 p.m. today as a Red Cross shelter providing relief services. If you have friends or family who have been evacuated, please let them know this service is available. The shelter is open to everyone.
Follow us on HERE and watch for additional email updates, and check back here tomorrow for the latest information.
