Mobley’s Framing and Gallery

We had a blast framing this piece by local Asheville artist ! We hand painted the bottom mat, allowing us to get that perfect shade of dusty blue, and the yellow painted bevel adds a great pop of color!

Check out the newest piece for sale in our gallery! This numbered print of "Potting Shed II" by Stanley "Barnabus" Ditchfield is a beautiful tangle of leaves and flowers. The green mat extends the leafiness of the print, and the copper frame and painted bevel mimic the rusty pot and gardening tools, tying the whole thing together. Stop by and grab this piece before it's gone!

We recently had the pleasure of framing these stone arrowheads! We took a nature-themed approach with this design, using a wood toned frame and a mossy, textured mat to call to mind a lush forest floor.

This gorgeous needlepoint kimono was meticulously handstitched by one of our very talented customers! The contoured mat opening helps accentuate the form in this already amazing artwork. Keep an eye out for this piece at this year's North Carolina State Fair!

This screen print by the late captures the ominous, yet oddly serene, feeling of witnessing the powerful creatures of the forest. The soft greens in the framing call to mind mossy forest floors, beautifully accentuating the mystical nature of this piece 🦌

For this Bob Dylan triptych, we took a modern and sleek approach. All three pieces are floated on a white background, and the frame is a glossy white. By keeping the framing itself monotone, the bold black, blue, and red lines in the art really take center stage.

This piece was the perfect opportunity to use a frame from this fun and funky collection! The movement and texture in this piece, along with the splashes of color, made it a great match for this beautiful frame. This mushroom themed pixel art brings up that nostalgic feeling of wandering through the forest in an old-school video game. The sleek green frame and green matting on this piece perfectly compliment the tones in the artwork, balancing that cozy nostalgia with a more contemporary decor style.

This chip of 's Free Expression Tunnel provided a fun and interesting challenge for us! Our customer found this chip after it had cracked off of the tunnel, and as a result it was very brittle. After gently cleaning the piece, we coated it in a very thin layer of resin to stop it from crumbling. From there, we were able to mount and frame it. We kept the design itself pretty simple, using all black to let the vibrant colors in the piece pop!

The opening night of "Wish You Were Here", an exhibition of original work by Doug Bennett, is almost here, and we couldn't be more excited!
