Sweet Dreams Furniture is looking for a reliable and responsible Driver to join our team.
Requirements:
• Valid South African driver’s licence
• Previous driving experience
• Experience driving a bakkie with a trailer is essential
• Must be comfortable assisting with furniture deliveries and loading/offloading
• Physically fit and able to handle furniture
• Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Must take good care of company vehicles and equipment
• Able to work well as part of a delivery team
Duties include:
• Delivering furniture safely to customers
• Loading and offloading furniture
• Checking delivery paperwork and items before leaving
• Ensuring furniture is handled carefully and arrives in good condition
• Keeping the delivery vehicle clean and reporting any issues or damage
• Providing professional service when dealing with customers
