In 2001 we were trusted with the exclusive rights to manufacture and re-launch Finn Juhl’s sculptural and iconic furniture by Finn Juhl’s widow Hanne Wilhelm Hansen. Something quite extraordinary is in the making.

The remarkable bed that Finn Juhl made for his life partner, Hanne Wilhelm Hansen, is returning. The bed can be seen in Finn Juhl’s House, part of the museum Ordrupgaard.

Next week, the story continues in Paris: https://finnjuhl.com/inspiration/event-calendar

Each year, we source a carefully selected collection of Gotland sheepskin from its native Swedish island. When dressed in this material, the Pelican Chair’s expression is entirely defined by nature, giving each piece a unique and individual character. The texture of the sheepskin underscores the Pelican’s sculptural, almost animalistic form.

Each chair is hand-upholstered in Denmark, with legs available in oak, walnut, or a black-painted finish.

In this exceptional 317-square-meter home, the organic curves and refined details of Finn Juhl’s furniture resonate with the architecture itself. Built in 1964 by a visionary industrialist, the villa brings together clean, timeless lines, expansive proportions, and a distinctly modern sensibility.

Inside, generous windows, open spaces, and carefully selected materials create a natural setting for Finn Juhl’s sculptural designs. From expansive living areas to more intimate corners, the furniture sits naturally within the architecture, bringing warmth and character to the home.

One of the most responsible things a furniture manufacturer can do is create furniture that can be used for decades, repaired, reupholstered, and ultimately passed on to new generations. For us, this is a commitment we call “Furniture for Generations.” We take this commitment seriously, grounding it in documented quality, durability, repairability, and lasting value—making our furniture worth keeping and passing on.

With its refined details and effortless comfort, the Fireplace Chair embodies Finn Juhl’s distinctive approach to modern design.

Originally designed in 1946 for Bovirke, the chair is also known as the BO59 and has since become an enduring classic. Each chair is hand-upholstered in Denmark in textile or leather, with a frame in oak, ash, or walnut.

Finn Juhl’s fascination with Japanese architecture and culture found a natural expression in the Japan Series — a study in proportion, construction and restraint. The Japan Sofa Two Seater, upholstered in sheepskin in the color ‘Moonlight’.
