Earthbound was made to be read as material first. Stone that holds the light inside it, brass that warms what it sits against. At OLEV, the fixtures stop being fixtures.

Some ceilings ask for restraint. This one, rising the full height of a stairwell in Gouna, asked for something else: a piece that could fall through the space the way light falls through it, unhurried, catching the sea at every turn.

Dozens of glass forms, cast and hung to answer that height alone. Nothing about it was chosen from a shelf. It was shaped for this home, and could only ever belong to it.

Not every piece arrives finished for the space it’s asked to fill. Sage wasn’t made for a staircase, so it was reimagined for one, reconsidered until it could hold the full run of the stairs without losing what made it Sage to begin with.

This is the part of the work we build for the people who design for a living: not the piece as it exists, but the piece as the space requires it.

There is a particular restraint a Japanese room expects of its light: present, but never louder than the wood, the food, the quiet around it. Alero holds that above the paintings. Iris carries it along the walls. Around them, pendants and floor lamps made only for Moishi continue the same thought into every corner.

Nothing here was chosen to be noticed. It was chosen to belong.

Some entrances ask for less, not more. This one asked for a single piece, in glass, leather, and brass, made for no address but this one.
