Some walks are more than just exercise — they’re therapy for the soul 🌿

The Lincolnshire Wolds gives you space to breathe, slow down and quiet the noise in your mind. No pressure, no rushing… just birdsong, open skies and the reminder that healing doesn’t always happen indoors.

Nature has a way of grounding us when life feels heavy. One step at a time, one deep breath at a time 🍃

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed lately, maybe what you need isn’t to escape life… but to reconnect with it ✨

☀️What a beautiful bank holiday Sunday ☀️

Birds tweeting, magical sunset moments and the sheep baa-ing in the distance ❤️

The two geodesic domes will soon be finished 🙏 it’s been a long (expensive) year of building, but we are finally almost done 🙌

Can’t wait for you all to see the final result! These will soon be available to book on the website, keep your eyes peeled for more info 😀

Soft golden light, chilled champagne and the peaceful luxury of escaping together 🌅

At Stewton Stars Hideaway, sunsets feel slower, softer and impossibly romantic — the kind of evenings made for lingering conversations, warm embraces and watching the sky melt into shades of amber and rose 🧡

A hidden countryside retreat where boutique charm meets starlit intimacy ✨

🌳💚🌱

Join us for the official launch of the Lincolnshire Wolds Outdoor Festival 2026 with a fun‑filled Activity Day celebrating everything the Wolds has to offer. This year’s Activity Day theme is Vikings, marking 50 years of the iconic Viking Way and shining a light on the area’s rich links to the Viking era. 🌿

The Activity Day is designed for all ages, with a special focus on families and young people. Whether you’re looking to try something new, learn more about local heritage, or simply enjoy a lively day outdoors, there’ll be plenty to get involved in. 🌳

Experience the past brought to life with captivating displays and living history tents from The Vikings of Middle England. Discover authentic clothing, weapons, and crafts, and enjoy engaging demonstrations that immerse you in Viking life.

🕐Re‑enactments will take place at 12pm and 3pm.

Have a go at a variety of outdoor pursuits throughout the day. Activities include a climbing wall (supported by Horncastle Town Council), soft archery, wilderness skills, laser clay pigeon shooting, and face painting. These drop‑in activities are ideal for beginners and families looking for hands‑on fun. 🥾

Meet local groups, activity providers, and festival partners offering information, demonstrations, and opportunities to get involved in outdoor life across the Wolds.

Enjoy a selection of locally sourced food and drink from on‑site vendors.🍕☕

The event is free to attend, with all attractions available at no charge.

Come along, get active, and help us celebrate the start of the 2026 Lincolnshire Wolds Outdoor Festival in true Viking spirit.
