🙏 The Universal Gate Chapter | Compassion Without Bounds

The Universal Gate Chapter of Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva, the 25th chapter of the Lotus Sutra, is one of the most widely recited Buddhist scriptures dedicated to Guanyin.

It teaches how Guanyin responds to the suffering of sentient beings with boundless compassion, offering guidance and protection through different manifestations.

🌸 Deliverance from seven kinds of danger
🪷 Liberation from greed, anger, and ignorance
🌿 Responding to heartfelt wishes
🙏 Manifesting in thirty-three forms to guide and help all beings

On Guanyin’s Renunciation Day, the 19th day of the ninth lunar month, Peng Lai Dian welcomes devotees to join in the recitation of this sacred scripture.

May Guanyin’s compassion inspire kindness, wisdom, and peace in our hearts.

🙏 A Flame of Faith, A Legacy Through Generations.

A single offering of incense carries half a century of devotion. A meaningful connection continues to endure through the passage of time.

With heartfelt gratitude for the blessings of Qingshui Zushi (清水祖师), Peng Lai Dian was honoured to participate in the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Qingshui Zushi at Peng Lai Xian Jing Qingshui Yan, commemorating a precious legacy of faith and spiritual heritage.

In 1978, Peng Lai Dian received the sacred incense lineage from a key figure of the Genting Group, marking the beginning of a spiritual bond that continues to this day.

Decades later, we were deeply honoured to meet him again and capture this meaningful moment together. Listening to his heartfelt memories of visiting small temples in Singapore’s villages with his father many years ago filled us with gratitude and admiration.

This photograph represents more than a reunion. It is a precious reminder of a bond that has endured for nearly half a century, connecting the past with the present.

May the sacred flame continue to burn, and may the blessings of Qingshui Zushi endure through generations.

May Qingshui Zushi bless all devotees with peace, well-being and harmony. May this cherished legacy of faith and devotion continue to flourish and be passed down from generation to generation. 🙏
